Building a Safer and More Resilient Future (Mon & Kayin State)
For communities forced to flee their homes, every day is a test of resilience amidst ongoing hardship. Ensuring that hope remains alive for these displaced families is at the heart of the Braveheart Foundation’s mission.
Our approach is rooted in listening deeply to the voices of the community and translating empathy into swift, practical action.
Our team traveled directly to displaced households across Mon State (Kyaikmaraw Township) and Kayin State (Kawkareik and Myawaddy Townships) to deliver a vital first round of essential relief supplies:
- Blankets (1.5 x 2 m) – 3 units
- Sleeping Mats (180 x 90 cm) – 3 pieces
- Mosquito Nets (190 x 100 cm) – 3 units
- Solar Lantern – 1 unit
- Tarpaulin Sheet (15′ x 15′) – 1 sheet
- Kitchen Utensil Set – 1 set
Placing community voices at the center of our work is foundational to everything we do. To ensure accountability and uphold safety, we integrated accessible Community Feedback Mechanisms (CFM) alongside essential safeguarding sessions, including robust awareness on the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.
Our ultimate goal is to honor the dignity of every affected individual and guide communities toward a safer, more secure future.
