Extending a Helping Hand to Communities in Need (Kyaukme and Nawnghkio)

For communities forced far away from the warmth and security of their homes due to various circumstances, daily life is a continuous struggle filled with challenges. In these difficult and exhausting times, the Braveheart Foundation is always present to personally reach out and address the needs of displaced populations.

Once again, the welcoming hands of the Braveheart Foundation reached the temporarily displaced communities in Kyaukme and Nawnghkio Townships, northern Shan State. Working in partnership with the Help Hub Organization, our organization was able to deliver essential relief items directly into the hands of over 2,400 displaced households:

  • Blankets (1.5 x 2 m) – 3 units
  • Sleeping Mats (180 x 90 cm) – 3 pieces
  • Mosquito Nets (190 x 100 cm) – 3 units
  • Solar Lamp – 1 unit
  • Tarpaulin Sheet (15′ x 15′) – 1 sheet
  • Kitchen Utensil Set – 1 set

This support has provided practical, hands-on assistance to displaced families, offering them some relief and comfort as they navigate these challenging times.

Furthermore, we always prioritize the “voices of the community” in all our operational processes. To ensure that individuals can freely share concerns or provide suggestions regarding our services, we implemented Community Feedback Mechanisms (CFM) alongside awareness-raising activities on the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), thereby fostering a safer and more secure environment for the community.

The Braveheart Foundation remains committed to striving and supporting local communities through their hardships. If you would like to join us as a beacon of light for these communities along this journey, we warmly invite you to contribute through the following channels:
