Although Cyclone Mocha has long passed in Myanmar, many families living in disaster-affected areas are still struggling every day to meet their basic needs.
As part of our recovery efforts, Braveheart Foundation has been working to support these communities who continue to face the challenges of rebuilding their lives.
With contributions from generous donors and the support of a UN agency, our team recently traveled to Tatkon Township to provide direct cash assistance of 360,000 MMK per household to local families affected by natural disasters.
While this support may not be a large amount, we believe it will make a difference for families who are rebuilding from scratch. It helps them secure daily food supplies, personal essentials, medicines, and other basic needs, giving them some relief and dignity during this difficult time.
During the distribution, our team worked with a spirit of compassion and solidarity. The smiles we witnessed on the faces of community members became a powerful source of motivation for us to continue our journey.
We are pleased to share images from this cash assistance program in Tatkon Township.
We welcome suggestions and feedback from everyone who follows our work as we strive to do better in our recovery and humanitarian efforts.
