The Braveheart Foundation recently reached out to displaced communities in Nyaung Shwe Township, Lawksawk and Namhsan, Southern Shan State, to provide much-needed support.

Due to natural disasters and other causes, many families have been forced to leave their homes and are currently living in temporary shelters. During the rainy season, these communities continue to face serious challenges, including health concerns, food insecurity, and shortages of basic necessities.

With the generous contributions of donors and the support of a UN agency, our organization was able to directly distribute 360,000 MMK in cash assistance to each household, ensuring that this support reached them personally and securely.

We believe that this contribution, although modest, will help alleviate some of the immediate hardships faced by these communities, strengthen their resilience, and allow them to maintain hope for rebuilding their lives. Braveheart Foundation remains committed to continuing our support to other disaster-affected regions in the future.

Here, we are pleased to share some images from our recent trip, where we visited the displaced communities in Lawksawk and Namhsan and provided cash assistance as part of the recovery process.
