Braveheart Foundation’s Continued Support for Flood-Affected Communities (Taungoo & Tatkone)

In December 2024, communities in Taungoo (Bago Region) and Tatkone (Nay Pyi Taw) were severely affected by floods caused by Cyclone. In response, Braveheart Foundation was able to provide an initial round of support to the affected populations.

Although we had prepared to deliver a second round of assistance shortly after, unforeseen circumstances delayed our efforts. However, we are pleased to share that we have now successfully delivered cash support directly to those who were still in urgent need.

With the support of a UN agency, Braveheart Foundation team members visited flood-affected areas in both Taungoo and Tatkone, personally delivering the assistance alongside local partners.

The heartfelt appreciation expressed by the community, their words of thanks and visible relief became a powerful reminder of why we do this work. Their gratitude has re-energized our team and reaffirmed our mission.

Moving forward, we are committed to building on our experience and continuing to grow as an organization that serves communities with purpose and compassion. We also warmly welcome any feedback or suggestions on our work. Your voice helps us do better!!!
