Supporting Earthquake-Affected Communities: Braveheart’s Continued Response
In times of crisis, solidarity brings hope.
The Braveheart Foundation recently made its second visit to earthquake-affected communities in Pyinmana and Tatkon townships, extending a hand of compassion and practical support. Thanks to generous donations from individual donors and the support of a UN agency, we were able to deliver MMK 360,000 in cash assistance per household to help families rebuild their lives.
While this amount may not seem large, we believe that in times of hardship, even a small spark of hope can light the path forward. What made this mission especially meaningful was the direct, personal delivery—our team members were able to hand over the support to each recipient with care and solidarity.
This initiative was guided by a deep spirit of empathy and community support. The heartfelt smiles and warm gratitude from community members reminded us why we do this work—and why we must continue.
Next Phase: Support for Nyaung Shwe, Southern Shan State
Braveheart is preparing its next round of support for villages in Nyaung Shwe, which were also impacted by the earthquake. Once again, our team members will travel in person to provide direct cash assistance to affected families.
We believe recovery is possible when we stand together. So today, we’re sharing a few meaningful moments from our recent distribution—not just as documentation, but as an invitation to be part of something bigger.
