Lighting Hope in Nyaung Shwe: Braveheart’s Relief Mission

With the generous support of a United Nations organization, **Braveheart Foundation** embarked on another heartfelt mission to aid earthquake-affected communities in Nyaung Shwe, Shan State. On May 14 and 15, 2025, our team visited villages in the Inle region, delivering the first phase of cash assistance directly to households in need. This effort aimed to provide a spark of strength and hope to those grappling with the aftermath of the disaster.

**Aid Provided : 360,000 MMK per household

Households Supported in Phase One :

– Myaung Wa Gyi: 86 households

– Aing Htaunt Gyi: 250 households

– Shey Wa Gyi: 110 households

– Kont Kei: 58 households

– Hin Cho: 41 households

Our team members, hand-in-hand, personally delivered the aid to each household, sharing moments of joy and connection amidst the challenges. While this support may be modest, we firmly believe it can ignite a glimmer of hope for those bearing the emotional and physical scars of the earthquake.

Looking ahead, we are committed to returning to Nyaung Shwe for a second phase of aid. Our team will carefully assess and verify the remaining villages and households to ensure continued support reaches those most in need.

We’re delighted to share glimpses of this meaningful journey below, hoping you’ll join us in the joy and fulfillment of this mission.
