Braveheart helped the community from Taungoo District, Bago Region, and Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw, who were affected by Cyclone Ragi in December 2024. It is very grateful for Braveheart that we were able to support this flood affected population particularly in their most suffering time.
In this very early 2025, through the support from the United Nations, Braveheart has recently provided fisrt time cash assistance 310,000 MMK (three hundred and ten thousand kyats) 263 households in Tatkon Township, 330 households in Taungoo Township who were affected by the flood and their houses were destoryed. This support will enhance them in purchasing food, rebuilding house and some beneficiaries said that they could buy school supplies for their children.
Empathying their situation, Braveheart Foundation will continue our cash assistance to those affected communities. We are now preparing and anticipating the second-time cash assistance at the end of January. Please still tune with us for Braveheart’s updates and upcoming programs.
