On June 13, 2024, the Braveheart Foundation partnered with WayForward to host a consultation workshop involving civil society organizations in Hlaingtharyar Township. Approximately 40 participants from various organizations attended.
The workshop commenced with introductions, enabling participants to get to know each other. Existing connections were reinforced while new partnerships were formed, fostering a sense of solidarity among attendees.
The session proceeded to explore the Community-Based Dispute Resolution Mechanism already in place, identifying social justice issues within their communities through engaging activities, small group discussions, and games. Collaborative processes for future initiatives were also discussed and planned.
The workshop concluded on a high note with active participation, clear presentations on community-based dispute resolution mechanisms and ongoing activities, and the establishment of new connections among participants. Several individuals volunteered to serve as local champions, reflecting a strong commitment to future collaborative efforts.
